This is Simon, we just played our last gig at Wembley, yes Wembley. So, as you can imagine I'm totally blown away, my life is complete with the knowledge that WE'VE DONE WEMBLEY. The gig rocked totally, and the tour is awesome fun. Who ever would have thought anything like this was going to happen to us at the start. Yay for SCANDAL'US, and all our fans.

The tour is going really well. I watched Hear'Say's concert for the first time today and they were incredible. In fact after watching them, I can't wait to get back home to tour Australia for you guys. I can't wait to do our own concert it's going to be great and so much fun and I just know that you guys - our fans - are going to rock!!!!!!! Anyway guys I just want to say that I miss you all and am looking forward to getting back home even though the UK is beautiful.

being here in London again brings back a lot of good childhood memories, but I gotta tell you... there ain't no place like oz!!! We have been almost everywhere there is to go in the U.K. and had a blast doing it!! But, Australia is by far the most beautiful place on earth!! And i really do mean that!!
I CAN'T WAIT TO GET HOME TO YOU GUYS!! Just watching the HEAR'SAY concert here in Wembley (which I have to say is amazing!!!) makes me want to come back to OZ and have our own concert on our own stage with our own fans!! now that would be wild! and the best thing is, i don't think its going to be long before that actually happens!!!! yay!
Now, there is one more thing that you guys have to know... although you may not see it as clear as we do, the only way that SCANDAL'US has made it this far, to the U.K. and having a no. 1 single, being nominated for arias, having a platinum selling album and a bunch of wild times, is because we have had the BEST, UNCONDITIONAL support from YOU!!! In what way has becoming a member of SCANDAL'US changed your life?
It has changed my life in every way. The biggest is that I am fulfilling my dream and doing something that I love. I have started my journey and I am content with that. It has changed my life because now I feel I am a role model and I have more responsibility. I have a lot of fun and I wake up and I love doing what I do.
What were you doing when you first heard Me, Myself & I on the radio?
The first time I heard it on the radio was a short snippet. We were driving our cars down Oxford St and the Mirages were all behind each other and we all just had our arms and heads out the window and we were screaming and cheering and beeping our horns.
What do you do that is a typical trait of your star sign, Leo?
Very ambitious, very impatient. Extremely impatient! Quite loud and confident.
What are you most proud of?
Probably getting in the group I would have to say. I am also proud at not getting nervous about the auditions and doing my best. And persistence. Persistence, persistence, persistence.
Who is your favourite singer?
All time favourite singer would have to be Lauryn Hill. But I also love Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.
How do you spend your free time?
We don't get a lot of free time, but when we do, I like to sit down and write lyrics. I also like reading and body combat.
Was it weird to have to have TV cameras in your face all the time?
It was at first, but by the end of the series, you almost forgot they were there. I kind of miss it, because you could always turn to the camera and give a comment like, I am so nervous about going on stage tonight..things like that. But the worst thing was the camera coming in and waking us up!
What item of makeup could you never live without?
My whole makeup case. There is no such thing as one item! It is a case! I can live without foundation. Everything else is essential to me!
How does it feel to be recognised wherever you go?
It is good. Most of the time it is really good. Sometimes you feel really tired and you try to be inconspicuous. For me that is really hard! It is really flattering and it is something I have always wanted.

What type of fan-mail do you receive?
I usually receive fan mail from girls. Specifically I think it is because I want to be the punky one out of the group. I don't like to be the sex symbol. I am not like that and I don't want to be something I am not, so when I do perform, I make fun of myself. I think the thing is I am confident about paying myself out and girls see that as Wow, she is human. I like when girls write, I like you as a role model because you are really down to earth. And when I see that feedback, I think, wow I am doing my job. I receive a lot of jewellery. I think that is the best when they make their own little beaded bracelets. It is so personalised.
What was it like to make your first video clip?
I think it was so good that the day felt like it was never ending. That wasn't bad, but you know you have days where you think this is going on forever. IT was a really good day and I didn't get much sleep the night before because we had to stay up to wish Simon a Happy Birthday. It was his birthday throughout the day so we were celebrating. Getting dressed up, make up, playing dress ups and dancing- that is the best. To have the video clip you can have to keep for the rest of your life as a recollection, that is the whole beauty of it.
How do you keep fit?
I love jogging. When I do get out of bed to go for a jog, at first I hate it, but when I come back I feel more alive and glad that I did it. I also love roller blading. I am a bit of a klutz at it. In Adelaide I was really good at it. But here some of the slopes are two steep and I have fallen over a few times and grazed my legs and arms. Make sure when you go roller blading, wear padding!
What instruments can you play?
I don't consider I play instruments professionally, but I love playing the piano and song writing. So the piano would be my main instrument. I think your body can be used as an instrument for dancing. I love the playing the guitar, but don't exactly know what to do with it! I attempt a few things. I did start the Cello when I was in Year 10. Not for too long but I was interested in playing this beautiful instrument. But what it comes down to is I admire my mum so much for playing the flute, piano, guitar, singing and accordion. I just admire her talents and want to be like her one day.
What has been the most suprising moment since joining SCANDAL'US?
Knowing I can fulfil a path that I thought at first I had a lot to live up to. But the biggest surprise is that I can be myself. What they were looking for on Popstars was myself as an individual. That was the biggest surprise of all, because you did not know what they were looking for. When I did get in the group, that was suprising. It was a good surprise!
Which song would you like to do a cover of?
Too many! I have so many! I have always wanted to do Eye of the Tiger because it has a lot of guts. Also there is a lot of soundtrack movies. I think the themes from movies that you sit down and watch and get a feeling from.
Are you an early bird, or a night owl?
I am a night owl. I am an insomniac. I can't go to sleep, no matter what. The only time I have a good sleep is if I get a day off and I sleep in all day. Until about five in the afternoon!
Where do you get your inspiration to write your songs?
That is a really hard question. This is going to sound bizarre, but I went to get my tarot cards read. She told me about my past lives and I am meant to be an old soul. So when I sing my songs to people, they ask have you experienced this? And I say No. How can you write ninety songs of different emotions? When I am not interested in love or having a relationship and yet I can write songs that are so deep into that. I ask myself, I don't even know how or why!
What is the nicest thing anyone has done for you?
I think the nicest thing for anyone to do for me is to smile. I like helping people and I know my life is more like a journey, rather than me achieving something, I help people along the way. When I know I have fulfilled something and I see someone smile, that really helps me. It is an ongoing thing and it never stops with just one person. It is always going to be everyone, everyday.
Do you see any of the other Popstar finalists?
Yes. I share an apartment with Atalana and Anna. I also see the twins, Arrnott and Anthony, because they all live in Sydney.
What is your favourite track from the Startin' Somethin' album?
I think we all love Me, Myself & I, but I also love Startin' Somethin'.

What is the best thing about being in SCANDAL'US?
It would definitely have to be travelling around the country and meeting the fans who are supporting you and buying your music and getting to know their opinions on your music. Getting to perform in front of them.
What CD do you never get tired of playing?
It would have to be Millennium by The Backstreet Boys and Maxwell's Live and Unplugged album.
Who in the world would you most like to meet?
Michael Jackson.
What is your favourite food?
My mum's cooking. A dish called Brijani, it is baked rice and chicken.
Name your favourite video clip, apart from your own!
It would have to be Michael Jasckson's: In the Closet.
How did it feel when you were told you made the group?
On top of the world. I felt like all my dreams had come true in an instant. All of the hard work had finally paid off. But at the same time because of my brother Simon, it was bittersweet. But in the end it all worked out for the best.
What makes you SCANDAL'US?
I can't tell, otherwise everyone will know my secrets!!!
Apart from your music, what else are you passionate about?
Dancing, choreography and stage movement.
What has been your best birthday present?
An autographed, block mounted picture of Britney Spears with certification!

What has been the most memorable experience so far?
I think definitely our first concert at Wonderland. Just because it was the biggest adrenalin rush and it was the first time we performed as a group and all of us really enjoyed it. It was fantastic to have our fans and family there, seeing the hard work was worth something in the end.
Who is your role model?
I would have to say role models and they are my parents. I love them very much and I think as much as I have probably given them some grief over the twenty-one years of my life, they have managed to raise both my sister and me and set a good example for both of us. I always look up to them in whatever I do. They would have to be my biggest role models in everything I do.
What is your most treasured possession?
It would definitely have to be my electronic organ at home, which I really want brought up to Sydney! I really miss it because I miss doing my backing tracks and synthesising my songs on it and I miss it so badly! It has to be my most treasured possession.
What is it like to do a photo shoot?
It is fun, but I really don't like photo shoots too much because I find them a little bit intimidating. It is fun because the five of us, because we take it for what it is and don't take it too seriously. We are not supermodels so we have a lot of fun with it. I think at the end of the day that is why the photos turn out the way they do, because we are messing around and having a bit of fun.
How did it feel to see your face on the cover of a magazine for the first time?
Very weird. It was surreal. I walked into a newsagency and saw it and it was really strange. Then I went and bought it and the guy behind the counter gave me a funny look- and said, Is this you, the girl from SCANDAL'US?...It is surreal!
What is one thing you have always wanted to do, but too afraid to do it?
I've wanted to get a tattoo, but I am scared of needles. I don't think I'll ever get one because I am petrified of needles, but I've wanted to!
What is in your handbag?
Now? I've got Vitamin C tablets, MAC makeup case and makeup. I've got Impulse deodorant, a roll on deodorant. Water, car keys and a packet of chewing gum, Mentos and mints. I can't go anywhere without mints in my bag. Oh, and my mobile phone; maybe that should be put under my most treasured possessions too, because it is my lifeline to family and friends in Adelaide.
What is your best quality?
People tell me I think of others first before I think of myself and I guess I do. I always consider what other people are feeling or how it will effect someone before I make a decision.
Who has been your biggest influence, musically?
I would have to say my music teacher, Phillip Walsh. He taught me from when I was five years old. I am always inspired to be like him. He is the most talented musician I have ever met in my life. He always inspired me to better myself. If I ever become half as good a musician as Phillip is, I will have achieved everything I have ever dreamed of.
You used to perform in musicals, so name your favourite musical and what was it like to perform in one?
My favourite musical that I performed in was The Wizard of Oz. I really wanted the part of the cowardly lion and I got it. I wanted it because I liked the song, King of the Forest. I loved that song! So that would have to be the most fun musical I've ever performed in. But I really love Grease. I always wanted to play Rizzo because she is cheeky and has a lot of personality.
What is your favourite track from the album?
Make Me Crazy because of it's Latino feel and Now That You're Gone. Everytime I hear it makes me happy for some reason!

SIMON DITCHAM

How do you pass time on plane trips?
Sleeping, eating, sleeping. If I had a computer I would type e-mails and stuff like that. And I read a lot and listen to music.
What was it like to record an album?
It was cool. It was fantastic; we spent two and a half months in a recording studio and had a complete ball. We all miss it so much. I think it was the people and learning all about recording, doing so many takes. It was just the whole learning experience.
What were you doing before SCANDAL'US?
I was working in an architecture firm in Hobart and I was a graduate of environmental design and I was going to study Architecture. I was also playing in two bands and I applied for the Conservatorium. Writing music and heaps of stuff to do with music. Then I quit to pursue music, and then this happened. Crazy.
Who came up with the name, SCANDAL'US and did it take much to convince the other members?
Jason pretty much did, but I must take full responsibility for the apostrophe! Every one thinks it was Jason, but actually it was me. I thought of the apostrophe. Because it was a stylistic thing I was after! It didn't take much convincing of the group; everyone loved it from word go. The only convincing was management and record company.

Where were you when you were told Me, Myself + I had debuted at No #1?
We were in the Mecure Hotel in Melbourne, having coffee the morning afer the Logies.
Les came in with a fax of the chart and then he taunted us, before he told us we were No #1.
The greatest lesson you have learnt is
Don't judge. Just experience.
